Budget 2026: PMX’s Systematic Betrayal and exclusion of the Indian Community
The Indian community, despite having acknowledged by Anwar as among the poorest and most marginalised groups in the country, is currently facing chronic socio economic issues that requires honest and urgent state intervention. His government’s failure to act, stand in complete contradiction to his rhetoric, exacerbating the community's plight.
The recent budget announcement by Prime Minister once again exposes the stark hypocrisy behind his claims of practising inclusive governance. Despite frequently proclaiming his commitment to uplift all communities, his failure to even mention allocations for the Indian community in his budget speech last Friday reflects a clear disregard for the plight of this long-marginalised segment of Malaysian society.
PMX’s refusal to allocate a minimum of RM500 million towards meaningful empowerment and development initiatives for the downtrodden Indian community further reveals his true intentions. The Indian community, despite him having acknowledged as among the poorest and most marginalised groups in the country, is currently facing chronic socio economic issues that requires honest and urgent state intervention. Equally troubling is his continued inaction in appointing a dedicated minister to oversee the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA). The refusal to reinstate the JUSA-grade positions for the Director-General and Deputy Director-General of MITRA indicates a deliberate move to cripple the institution, rendering it dysfunctional and ineffective. This sustained neglect clearly demonstrates an agenda to paralyse MITRA and undermine its potential to serve the community.
The silence of Indian leaders within Pakatan Harapan, particularly the 12 Members of Parliament and 15 State Assemblymen, is both disappointing and telling. Their unwillingness to speak up against this ongoing marginalisation only proves that the so-called MadaniGovernment has failed the Indian community at every level, leaving them disillusioned with the current state of affairs.
Unless the Indian community rallies behind credible and principled leadership such as that of HINDRAF and MAP in the upcoming GE16, the future remains bleak. However, with the right leadership, the community can unite and bring about the change it deserves. The time has come for the community to unite under honest and credible leadership that prioritises real empowerment over political tokenism.

Percubaan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim untuk mempertahankan jemputan kepada bekas Presiden Amerika Syarikat, Donald Trump dengan membuat perbandingan kepada perjuangan kemerdekaan Tanah Melayu adalah tidak berasas, menyeleweng dari fakta sejarah, dan sama sekali tidak bermaruah.
Kemerdekaan Malaya yang dipimpin oleh Tunku Abdul Rahman dicapai melalui diplomasi yang penuh hikmah, kebijaksanaan dan muafakat. British pada waktu itu bukanlah penjajah yang menindas, tetapi bekerjasama dengan Raja-Raja Melayu serta Majlis Perundangan dalam satu proses perlembagaan yang aman dan teratur. Kemerdekaan dicapai tanpa pertumpahan darah, hasil rundingan yang menghormati kedaulatan dan maruah bangsa.
Menyamakan perjuangan Tunku itu dengan tindakan menjemput Donald Trump adalah penghinaan kepada sejarah dan perjuangan kemerdekaan negara. Rekod Trump dipenuhi dengan kezaliman – pemerintahannya membekalkan senjata dan peralatan ketenteraan canggih kepada rejim Zionis Israel yang telah membunuh ribuan orang awam dan wartawan di Gaza. Di bawah pentadbiran Trump, Amerika Syarikat menghalang usaha Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) untuk menyalurkan bantuan kemanusiaan, dan melindungi Israel walaupun dunia menuduh mereka melakukan jenayah perang serta genosid terhadap rakyat Palestin. Menghalang makanan asas daripada sampai kepada rakyat Palestine yang mati dalam ratusan akibat kebuluran juga dibantu oleh pemerintahan Trump.
Anwar kini sedang mempertahankan perkara yang tidak dapat dipertahankan. Hujahnya tidak lebih daripada helah politik untuk meredakan gelombang penentangan rakyat yang semakin meningkat terhadap keputusan beliau menjemput seorang pemimpn yang bersubahat dalam penindasan dan pertumpahan darah, dan genosid rakyat Palestine.

அன்வார் இப்ராகிம் நாட்டின் 10-ஆவது பிரதமராக தற்பொழுது வகிக்கும் பதவி, கூட்டரசு அரசியல் சாசனப் பிரிவு 128(2) மற்றும் 1964 நீதித்துறை சட்டப் பிரிவு 84 ஆகியவற்றின்படி சட்டப்படியானதா என கேள்வி எழுப்பி தொடரப்பட்டவழக்கு, அரசியல் சாசனம் சம்பந்தப்பட்டது என்பதால், கால விரயம் ஆவதைத் தவிர்க்கும் பொருட்டு, அந்த வழக்கை கூட்டரசு நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு மாற்றும்படி உயர்நீதி மன்றத்தில் பரிந்துரை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக நாட்டின் சரித்திர சாதனை இயக்கம் ஹிண்ட்ராஃப் தலைவருமான பொன்.வேதமூர்த்தி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இதன் தொடர்பில், நீதிமன்ற நடவடிக்கையில் தடை ஏற்படுத்தவோ தாமதப்படுத்தவோ அல்லது தந்திரமான நடைமுறை சிக்கலை ஏற்படுத்-தவோ கூடாதென்று அன்வாரைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ள முன்னாள் அமைச்சருமான பொன் வேதமூர்த்தி, அன்வார் வகிக்கின்ற பிரதமர் பதவி தொடர்பில் அரசியல் சாசன ரீதியில் எழுந்துள்ள கேள்விகளை அவர் எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றும் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.
இந்த விவகாரத்தில் மலேசிய ஜனநாயகத்தின் ஆன்மா சம்பந்தப்பட்டு உள்ளதால் இந்த சிக்கல் விரைவாகவும் தீர்க்கமாகவும் மலேசிய மக்களுக்கு ஏற்புடையதாகவும் தீர்க்கப்பட வேண்டும். அரசுஇயஎந்திரத்திலும் அரசியல் சாசன மேலாண்மையிலும் பொதுமக்கள் வைத்துள்ள நம்பிக்கையை நிலைநாட்டும் வகையில் கூட்டரசு நீதிமன்றம் உரிய முடிவவை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் இதன் தொடர்பில் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் பொன். வேதமூர்த்தி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
